Helping Hands for Freedom, a 501c3 organization, was founded in 2008. The mission of Helping Hands for Freedom is one of supporting military families dealing with death, deployment and loss. The organization assists Gold Star families, which are those surviving family members of a fallen soldier, along with veterans who suffer from PTSD. In addition, Helping Hands for Freedom offers various programs to the children of military personnel, as well as helping with emergency assistance to military families.

Your participation as a golfer, sponsor or in-kind donor can prevent a family from being evicted from their home or apartment, keep the utilities turned on, the car in the driveway and other critical debts paid to keep the family stable.
